Today we are going to show you how you can root your MOTO X on Android 4.4.2 firmware or on any previous versions by following simple step by step instructions.The process is very simple and takes a few minutes to get the root access on your Moto X smartphone.
Rooting has lots of benefits : once the device is rooted you can install rooted apps like titanium backup etc, custom ROM and script and mods.

ROOT MOTO X USING TOWELPIEROOT:
This guide is only for Moto X running android 4.4.2 or any previous version . Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. if you found any difficulty or needed any help/advice in rooting your device you can comment down below the post.

Before you begin with the instructions below :

1.Make sure your android device is adequately charged — at least 50% battery of the device.

2.Backup Your Device — Back up important data and stuff before you start playing around here as there are chances you might lose your apps and app-data (app settings, game progress, etc.), and in rare case, files on the internal memory, too.


STEP BY STEP MOTO X ROOT INSTRUCTIONS :

STEP 1: Download TowelPieRoot to root your moto x.
File Name : TowelPieRoot.apk
Size : 1.7 mb
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

STEP 2: Enable developer mode by going to "Settings", "Security" and checking "Unknown sources".

STEP 3: Now install TowelPieRoot.apk file by tapping on the TowelPieRoot.apk.apk file. ( like u install any other app )

STEP 4: Once installed you will find its icon in App Menu

STEP 5: Now open TowelPieRoot by tapping on it

STEP 6: On the main screen you will see the option " Make It Rain on Moto " Just tap on it and wait for the process.

STEP 7: Once the process complete it will show a message " Root Achieved Enjoy"

That's All...you have successfully rooted your Moto X.
